Halloween has always felt like it belongs to the wizarding world a little more than anywhere else, and this gallery is a wander through the rooms that prove it. Each space takes on its own version of the season, some glowing with pumpkins and patchwork warmth, others leaning into shadow and old magic, but all of them carrying that same flicker of candlelight and quiet mischief.
From a cosy Burrow bedroom to the grandeur of the Great Hall, the chill of Malfoy Manor, and the low bubbling hush of the potions classroom, here is Halloween as it might look across every corner of the castle and beyond.

How best to decorate a Hogwarts Halloween Space?
Turning any Hogwarts corner into something Halloween ready does not take much, just a handful of small, layered touches that build on the moodiness already there.
Pumpkins and jack o lanterns are the easiest starting point, tucked along windowsills, clustered at the foot of a bed, or lined up on a mantle in a mix of sizes. A few carved with simple faces and lit from within do most of the atmospheric work on their own.
Cobwebs and stretched spiderweb netting draped across furniture edges, drawers, bookshelves, or bed frames give a room that forgotten, untouched feeling, as though no one has opened that drawer in a hundred years. A light hand goes further here, a little looks intentional, too much starts to look like a costume shop.
Candlelight, more than usual, is worth leaning into, extra pillar candles in mismatched holders, a few flickering lanterns, anything that deepens the shadows in the corners of the room rather than brightening it evenly.
Autumn foliage and dried branches woven along shelves, draped over a headboard, or spilling from an urn bring in that late October feel without tipping into full costume territory, dried leaves, twisted twigs, the odd sprig of something a little witchy looking.
Richer, heavier textiles help too, deep burgundy or ochre throws, patchwork quilts, velvet drapes, anything that trades a lighter everyday palette for something warmer and more autumnal for the season.
A few eerie small details finish it off, an old apothecary bottle, a stack of worn leather books left open, a crystal ball or tarot deck left out as though someone was just using it. These do not need to dominate the room, just sit quietly among the regular decor as a hint that something slightly magical, or slightly haunted, has been going on.
