Have you ever been camping?
Camping has always felt like the closest the non-magical world gets to actually living inside a story. There is something about waking up with the smell of woodsmoke still in your hair, brewing tea on an open flame while the mist sits low over the trees, that feels less like roughing it and more like stepping briefly into a world where the ordinary rules do not quite apply. I have always thought the best campsites feel a little like the wizarding world — the kind of places where you half expect to turn a corner and find something extraordinary waiting. Whether it is a canvas tent strung with lights in a forest clearing or a fire pit surrounded by mismatched blankets and good company, there is a particular kind of magic in sleeping somewhere that has no walls to speak of. Has it ever made me want to recreate that woodsmoke warmth indoors? Always. Has it directly inspired more than a few Burrow aesthetic mood boards? Absolutely.
